Full Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please print a copy of these Terms and Conditions and retain for future reference.
1. The Promoter: pladis (UK) Limited, Building 3, Chiswick Park, 566 Chiswick High Road, Chiswick, London W4 5YA (please do not send any correspondence to this address). (“Promoter”).

Eligibility:
Entry is open to Brakes wholesale business account customers that are registered Care Homes in the United Kingdom, entrants must be aged 18 or over. The following are excluded from entry:
a) Directors, management and employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies.
b) Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter and Brakes, or any third parties who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; and
c) Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
3.
Requirements:
Purchase, Brakes wholesale business account, internet, email address and mobile phone number are necessary to enter. Please retain an original itemised invoice that states the time and date of purchase, as this will be required to enter and in order for valid registered Care Homes to receive their Quiz pack.
Entrants who purchase Qualifying Products in their role as an employee of a business must have their employer’s permission to enter this promotion or to accept the Quiz pack and must comply with any relevant procedures their employer has established, including any rules for participating in promotions. For the avoidance of doubt, an entrant is the person/entity named on the invoice.

Promotional Period: Purchase and enter between 00:00 GMT on 1st April 2024 and 23:59 GMT 30th April 2024 inclusive (the “Closing Date”). Quiz packs are limited and a max of 100 will be given away. The offer will end on the closing date or once all have been claimed, whichever comes first.
5.
Entry Instructions:
To enter:
a. Purchase three (3) cases of the qualifying products (full list at clause 6), from a Brakes Wholesaler online during the Promotional Period.
b. Follow the link on the online banner to go to a data collection form and apply.
c. Enter your full name, registered Care Home business details, mobile number, email, postal address and upload a photo of the invoice showing the purchase of qualifying products during the Promotional Period.
d. Maximum of one entry and one gift claim per registered care home in the entire promotional period.
e. Each claim is subject to validation of business details and invoice.
f. Entry may only be made via the method described above. Claims by any other means (for example postal claims) shall not be accepted.
g. The employer's permission must be obtained prior to entering. Entrants are advised to take care when entering their business details; the Promoter is not responsible for typographical errors and incorrect information submitted. Only correct entries that have followed the instructions will be accepted.
6.
Qualifying Products: Entry must be supported by a purchase of 3 qualifying cases and confirmed by an original till receipt/invoice. No entries from agents, third parties or organised groups will be accepted. No bulk and/or automated entries. Whilst we want you to enjoy this promotion, we discourage excessive inventory. Please do not purchase more products than you can reasonably use or consume.

7. The Promoter will not accept:
a. Responsibility for entries that are late, incorrect, illegible, incomplete, defaced, corrupt, lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, hardware or software failure of any kind or any other reason; or
b. Proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Prize Promotion.
8. No third party or bulk entries. Entries via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified. If it becomes apparent that either an entrant or household is using any means to circumvent this condition such as, and without limitation, fraudulently falsifying data, acting fraudulently or dishonestly in the opinion of the Promoter using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase the entrant’s entries or otherwise acting in violation of these terms, these entrants will be disqualified, and any prize entitlement will be void. Entrants are advised to take care when entering their details; the Promoter is not responsible for mistypes.
9.
Quiz packs: The Quiz packs are available to registered Care Homes with a verified Brakes account and will be awarded subject to appropriate verification of the entry being valid. Quiz packs will only be awarded to the named person/entity on the purchase invoice. Maximum of one Quiz pack per registered Care Home. There are one hundred (100) Quiz packs available to be claimed in total, once all have been claimed, the promotion will end.
Each Quiz pack will contain 1 Quiz Sheet, 10 Answer Sheets, McVitie’s bunting, 1 McVitie’s mug and 3 packs of McVitie’s biscuits.
10.
Validation:
All claimants’ entries will be validated. Each entry will be checked to ensure they are a registered Care Home and that they have uploaded a valid invoice showing purchase of 3 qualifying cases during the Promotional Period.
11.
Quiz pack Delivery: All valid claims will receive their Quiz pack by 28th May 2024. Any claims that are not valid will not be fulfilled. No notification will be given for invalid entries.
12. Proof of identity and proof of address may be called for before the Quiz pack is awarded.
13. Entrants acknowledge that the Promoter may be prevented from providing some or all of the Quiz pack elements due to unforeseen circumstances. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute or cancel some or all of the Quiz pack and neither the Promoter nor the Companies accept responsibility in these circumstances.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Promotion if deemed necessary due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
15. The Promoter’s decision is final on all matters relating to the Promotion.
16. If the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing that an entrant has contravened the Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative claimant.
17. Entrants must enter the Promotion using their legal name. The Promoter will verify the eligibility of Quiz pack claimants. The Promoter will require such information that it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and a Quiz pack may be withheld unless and until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.
18. Where a Claimant has been found to be in breach of any of these Terms and Conditions and in particular where a person is in breach of the entry restrictions, the Promoter may nevertheless still enforce its right to disqualify that person and require the return or reimbursement to the Promoter of any Quiz pack even where a Quiz pack has been awarded and/or actually provided to the entrant or Claimant in question.
19. If, for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any written directions given under applicable law) to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
20. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
21. Claimants may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion with no further compensation.
22. This Promotion is governed by English Law and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

3. We need your full name, business details, proof of purchase, email, postal address and mobile number to enter the Promotion and claim, to ensure that it is run fairly and for your Quiz pack to be awarded. You cannot enter the Promotion without providing that information. We may also require a copy of your identification, proof of address or other information to confirm your eligibility for a Quiz pack. Our processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of the Promotion contract.
4. We will need to share personal data with our partners only to operate the Promotion. Our Promotion administrator is Umbrella, Dodwell House, Chilton Business Centre, Chilton, Buckinghamshire HP18 9LS. We may need to share personal data with Quiz pack suppliers and third parties, and you may need to provide further personal data to them for fulfilment of your Quiz pack. Where these partners process personal data, it is subject to their own privacy notices. Other partners with whom we may share personal data include IT service providers, delivery companies, and business partners who help us to ensure the proper administration of the Promotion and associated services.
5. Should we need to transfer personal data outside of the UK or EEA, we will ensure that appropriate legal and technical safeguards are in place.
6. You can request copies of personal data about you including in portable electronic formats and, where appropriate, the rectification, erasure or restriction of processing of that personal data.
