Terms & Conditions

1. The Promotion is open to Independent Free Trade (IFT) & Convenience store business owners in United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) aged 18 or over.

2. Employees of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, their families and anyone deemed to be professionally involved with or connected to the Promotion are not permitted to enter the Promotion. 

3. The Promotion is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Internet access, sign up with a registered business address, a valid email address & a valid UK mobile number are required for registration.

4. To enter the Promotion, you must sign up to Diageo One by registering your IFT or convenience store business details, name, email address and mobile number between 00:00 on 1st March 2024 and 23:59 31st March 2024. To sign up visit: https://gb.diageo-one.com/s/?language=en_GB . Entry valid for initial outlet sign up only. Sign-ups received outside of this time will be void and will not be entered into the Promotion. Maximum of One entrysign per business, email and mobile number. Sign ups will be subject to validation by Diageo GB and only validated accounts will be eligble to enter the prize draw. If multiple accounts are opened under an IFT or convenience store then only the lead account will be eligible to be entered into the prize draw. 

5. Outlets that have previously signed up for a Diageo One account will not be eligible to be entered into the prize draw. 

6. There will be 100 prizes of £250 towards the winning businesses electricity bill. 

7. The winners will be the first valid entries electronically drawn at random from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions. The prize draw will take place no later than 8th April 2024 and winners will be notified within 7 days of the draw date by email. The winning email will include a secure link to claim. Winners are invited to click on the link within 10 days from the date of the winning email to claim their prize. To claim, winners will need to reconfirm their details input at entry and also enter their Business registration number, their registered business bank account details including the Business Name as it appears on the bank account, including the Business Sort Code & Business Account Number and also upload an image of these details on their Business letterhead for verification. Winners will receive an email within 7 days of submitting their claim to confirm if it has been verified. 

8. If a winner has not claimed after 7 days they will receive a prize claim reminder email. If the winner does not click on the secure link and complete the claim form within the next 3 days their prize will be forfeited and an alternative reserve winner selected at the same time as the draw took place will be contacted. A maximum of one set of reserves will be contacted for any unclaimed prizes in the same manner as detailed above. 

9. The winner will receive £250 via Bank Transfer to the registered Business account details input at the time of completing the claim. Winners will receive their bank transfer within 28 days of a verfieid claim. 

10. The prize is non-transferable and must be claimed by the registered Business. The prize bank transfers will only be made to a registered business bank account and not a personal account. The Business owner may be required to declare their prize win to their accountant and there may be a tax liability. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications that arise from accepting the prize. 

11. The Promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our privacy policy which can be found at https://footer.diageohorizon.com/dfs/assets/www.diageo.com/PrivacyPolicy_en.html?locale=en-gb. The Promoter will only use your Business information for the purpose of carrying out the Promotion. Where the Promoter is not responsible for the fulfilment of or delivery of the prize, the Promoter shall share your Business information with Umbrella Risk Management Limited who are responsible for the fulfilment of and delivery of the prizes. Umbrella Risk Management will show on your Business Bank Account Statement showing delivery of the £100 prize. Umbrella Risk Management shall use your details soley for prize notifications and fulfilment of the prize. All Business data supplied to Umbrella Risk Management in relation to the fulfilment of the promotion shall be deleted 30 days after all prizes have been fulfilled inline with these terms and conditions. 

 

12. The winners may be asked to take part in publicity.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate (temporarily or permanently) these terms and conditions or the Promotion with or without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so due to any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud or in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity).

14. No correspondence will be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the Promotion is final.

15. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason or difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Promotion and proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of delivery.  

16. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the Promotion or which are caused by a third party.

17. This Promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. 

18. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this Promotion.
