Ford Transit Team Assemble Competition Terms and Conditions (the "Promotion")

Eligibility:

1. These Terms & Conditions apply to anyone entering the online Ford Transit Team Assemble Competition via Instagram (“Competition”) promoted and administered by us, Henry Ford & Son Ltd. (“The Promoter”).

2. By entering the Competition, nominating your business, (“You” or “Entrant”) you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept the Terms & Conditions, you should not enter the Competition.

3. The Competition is open to all registered small trade businesses of the Republic of Ireland within the categories stated in clause 8 below. Entrants must be aged 25 or over.

4. Employees of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, including Franchisee Employees (Dealers), their families and anyone deemed to be professionally involved with or connected to the Competition are not permitted to enter the Competition.

5. No purchase necessary. Internet access and an Instagram account are required to enter.

How to Enter:

6. To enter the Competition, see the promotional post on Instagram and nominate your business by tagging the name of your business and its category in the comments section of the post for the chance to win.

7. The Competition opens for nominations at 00:00 GMT on 3^rd March 2025 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 28^th March 2025. Entries received outside of these times will be void and will not be entered into the Competition. Exact timings may be subject to change.

8. The categories of small trade business are as follows:

· Painter/ Decorator

· Plumber

· Carpenter

· Electrician

· Gardener

9. Small trade businesses with at least 3 nominations in the comments section of posts, per category, will be shortlisted to win.

10. The shortlisted nominees will be contacted within 7 days of the closing date via either their business email address or Instagram Direct Message from @fordireland and will be required to complete a form in order to enter the shortlist judging process.

11. The Nominees must complete the form with the following information by no later than 7 days from the date the communication was sent. The data required will be:

· Category Business Entered

· Full business name

· Confirmation of their business registration in Republic of Ireland

· Confirmation the business owner is over 25 years old

· Confirmation that they have held a valid Republic of Ireland driving licence for at least 5 years and have no penalty points on their licence.

· Explanation of how and why their business would tangibly benefit from a 12 month lease of a Ford Transit. Explanations must be a maximum of 300 words.

12. 4 nominees per category who correctly submitted their details in accordance with these Terms & Conditions, will be selected by a judging panel which includes one independent judge. Judging will take place within 7 working days of the final form submission date. The 4 nominees per category will represent a diverse selection of businesses from across Ireland, reflecting diversity across multiple dimensions, including but not limited to geographic location, business size, and the backgrounds of the business owners, such as gender and ethnicity.

13. The 4 businesses per category will be announced on Instagram across a 5 day period (one post per category, per day) within 2 working days of the final judging. Each shortlisted business will be tagged in an individual comment on the announcement post for their relevant category. The public will be invited to vote by liking the comment in which the business they would like to win is tagged. The voting will remain open for a period of 14 days from the date of the announcement post for each category.

14. The business which receives the most likes on their tagged comment per category will win a Prize.

15. The winners will be notified within 2 working days of the voting close date via email to the email address provided upon form submission. Each winner will be required to confirm their full name, full business postal address and their driving licence details in order to claim their prize.

16. If a winner does not respond to their winning email within 7 days of receipt of the notification email, they will forfeit their prize and the prize will be re-awarded to the business with the second highest number of votes. Reserves may have less time to claim.

17. Each prize will be awarded to the registered business owner only.

18. The winners will be announced on the @fordireland official Instagram.

19. Prize Details: There are 5 prizes available to be won, one per category. Each Prize includes a vehicle lease of a Ford Transit for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery to each winner. The exact specification of the vehicle will be a 2025 Ford Transit. The exact delivery date will be agreed between each winner and The Promoter.

20. As part of the Prize, third party insurance will be provided for the winners as named drivers plus one other family member each and the following costs will be included: road tax and Ford Assistance roadside assistance. There are no mileage restrictions however, the winners will be responsible for all electricity or fuel costs for running the vehicle and any major damage beyond fair wear and tear. The winners will be required to sign a Ford Loan Agreement for the vehicle. The third party insurance does not cover any items left inside the vehicle, the winners will be liable for any loss or damage to their personal belongings.

21. Each winner must have held a valid Republic of Ireland driving licence for at least 5 years, have no penalty points on their licence and complete the Promoter’s licence checking system. If the winners have opted to add a family member to the third party insurance as detailed in clause 20, each named family member will also be required to complete the Promoter’s licence checking system and confirm they have held a valid Republic of Ireland driving licence for at least 5 years and have no penalty points on their licence.

22. The Promoter will arrange for the winners to collect their vehicles from Automotive, 86 Furze Rd, Sandyford Business Park, Sandyford, Dublin 18, D18 W1W7. The Promoter will also arrange for the vehicles to be delivered back to the same address at the end of the 12 month lease period.

23. The vehicles must remain in the Republic of Ireland for the duration of the 12 month lease period and must not be used on a track. The Promoter reserves the right to track the vehicles through telematics in the event of an accident, or if they suspect the vehicles have been taken out of the Republic of Ireland or to a track.

24. Each lease must be taken as a 12 month block and cannot be taken as separate leases.

25. The winners will form the Transit Team Directory, a Ford assemble team of trade experts. The Transit Team Directory will be required to participate in 2-3 trade jobs in 2025 that will be funded by Ford. These jobs will be sourced by Harris PR on behalf of Ford. As an example, one of the trade jobs may be helping members of the local community following a natural disaster, i.e. flood. Exact details of the trade jobs will be communicated to each winner as required.

26. The winners will be required to be available for press and marketing purposes for the duration of their Ford Transit Loan and during their trade jobs to promote the Competition and their journey as winners.

General:

27. The prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives available. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or part thereof) with prizes of equal or greater value.

28. The Competition and the Promoter's Instagram page (@fordireland) are not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering into the Competition, entrants release Instagram from all and any claims and liabilities which might arise in relation to the Competition. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram.

29. The Promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and its privacy policy which can be found at https://www.ford.ie/useful-information/terms-and-privacy-policy-hub. The Promoter will only use your personal information for the purpose of carrying out the Competition. Where the Promoter is not responsible for the fulfilment of or delivery of the prizes, the Promoter shall share your personal information with Harris PR who are responsible for the fulfilment of and delivery of the prize.

30. The prize winners’ surnames and counties will be available by emailing UKCRC1@Ford.com within three months of the Closing Date. Any Winners may opt to have their details removed or minimised by emailing to ford@harrispr.ie and indicating their request relates to Ford Transit Team Assemble Competition. Any winners opting to have their details removed or minimised will not be displayed in the Winners List made available to the public on request. However, the Promoter shall provide the information set out above upon request from such competent authorities (including without limitation the Advertising Standards Authority). The Winners’ details are retained by the Promoter for prize validation and verification only.

31. Nominations that contain any offensive or inappropriate content will be deleted and disqualified at the Promoter's discretion.

32. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate (temporarily or permanently) these terms and conditions or the Competition with or without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so due to any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud or in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity).

33. No correspondence will be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the Competition is final.

34. The Promoter and its agents accept no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason or difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Competition and proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of delivery.

35. The Promoter is not responsible for computer or network problems, problems with servers, other programming, electronic or technological failures/errors/malfunctions of any kind (including but not limited to filtering by or operation of the functionality of Instagram) or the failure to receive any posts or inability to contact the potential prize winner for any reason, whatsoever.

36. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the Competition or which are caused by a third party.

37. This Competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of the Republic of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.

38. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this Competition.
