Ford UK Capri Getaway Social Promotion Terms and Conditions (the "Promotion")

Full Terms and Conditions

Eligibility:

1.      These Terms & Conditions apply to anyone entering the online Ford Capri Getaway Prize Draw via Instagram (“Prize Draw”) promoted and administered by us, Ford Motor Company Limited (“The Promoter”). 

2.     By entering the Prize Draw you (“You” or “Entrant”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept the Terms & Conditions, you should not enter the Prize Draw. 

3.     The Prize Draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, who comment on the post using a designated hashtag and describing the event they would like to get away from.

4.     Employees of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, including Francisee Employees (Dealers), their families and anyone deemed to be professionally involved with or connected to the Prize Draw are not permitted to enter the Prize Draw. 

5.     No purchase necessary. Internet access and an Instagram account are required to enter. 

How to Enter:

6.     To enter the Prize Draw, see the promotional post on Instagram, follow @FordUK and comment on the post using #CapriGetaway and describe a past or future event event that you would like to get away from. 

7.     The Prize Draw opens for entries at 00:00 BST on 13/10/2025 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 16/11/2025. Entries received outside of these times will be void and will not be entered into the Promotion.

Prize Details:

8.    There is 1 Prize available to be won. The Prize includes 1 x Ford Capri car hire for a minimum of 48 hours, plus: 1 night 5* hotel full-board hotel accommodation, based on 2 adults sharing a room TBC Flights if required and an activity as agreed with winner. The winner must use the designated hashtag ‘#CapriGetaway’ in the comments. 

9.     The winner must be 25 years or older, have held a valid UK driving licence for at least 3 years, have 0 penalty points on their licence and complete the Promoter’s licence checking system. 

Winner Selection and Contact: 

10.  There will be one winner. The winner will be drawn at random by an automated computerised program under the supervision of an independent adjudicator from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these Terms & Conditions during the Prize Draw period and notified via direct message (DM) on Instagram within 24 hours of the Prize Draw. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure their social media account is set to ‘Public’ in order to allow relevant details such as Instagram handle and comment to be extracted for entry into the Promotion. The Promoter is not responsible for any failure to extract details from accounts which haven’t been set up as required. 

11.   The winner will be notified via Instagram by the official Ford account (@FordUK) to the account used to enter. The winner will be required to respond to the DM with their full name, email address and contact phone number within 72 hours of winner notification in order to claim their prize. 

12.   If the winner does not respond to their winning message within 72 hours of Ford sending them a DM, they will forfeit their prize and an alternative winner will be selected from the drawn reserves. Please be aware that the DM may have gone into your message request folder. It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they check their message request folder. 

13.  The prize will be awarded to the authorised account holders of the Instagram account. The authorised account holder is the natural person assigned to the handle. 

General: 

14.  The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part thereof) with a prize of equal or greater value. 

15.  The entrant agrees to and understands that their comment (including their Instagram handle) will be made available to the public, including without limitation, posting on the internet. 

16.  The Prize Draw and the Promoter's Instagram page is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering into the Prize Draw, entrants release Instagram from all and any claims and liabilities which might arise in relation to the Prize Draw. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Instagram.

17.   The Promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and its privacy policy which can be found at https://www.ford.co.uk/content/dam/guxeu/uk/documents/home/footer/DOC-customer-privacy-notice.pdf.  The Promoter will only use your personal information for the purpose of carrying out the Promotion. Where the Promoter is not responsible for the fulfilment of or delivery of the prize, the Promoter shall share your personal information with Born Social who is responsible for the fulfilment of and delivery of the prize.

18.  The prize winner’s surname and county will be available by emailing socialuk@ford.com within three months of the Closing Date. Any Winner may opt to have their details removed or minimised by emailing to socialuk@ford.comand indicating their request relates to Ford Capri Getaway Social Prize Draw. Any winner opting to have their details removed or minimised will not be displayed in the Winners List made available to the public on request. However, the Promoter shall provide the information set out above upon request from such competent authorities (including without limitation the Advertising Standards Authority). All Winners’ details are retained by the Promoter for prize validation and verification only. 

19.  Entries that contain any offensive or inappropriate content will be deleted and disqualified at the Promoter's discretion. 

20.  The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate (temporarily or permanently) these terms and conditions or the Prize Draw with or without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so due to any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud or in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity).

21.   No correspondence will be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final.

22.  The Promoter and its agents accept no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason or difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Prize Draw and proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of delivery. 

23.  The Promoter is not responsible for computer or network problems, problems with servers, other programming, electronic or technological failures/errors/malfunctions of any kind (including but not limited to filtering by or operation of the functionality of Instagram) or the failure to receive any posts or inability to contact the potential prize winner for any reason, whatsoever. 

24.  While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the Promotion or which are caused by a third party.

25.  This Prize Draw and these Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. 

26.  Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this Promotion.
