Trebor Own It Terms and Conditions (the "Competition")
  1. The Competition is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.
  2. Employees of Mondelez Europe Services GmbH - UK Branch (“the Promoter”) and its affiliate companies, their families and anyone deemed to be professionally involved with or connected to the Competition are not permitted to enter the Competition. 
  3. Promotional Period: Opens for entries on 29th August 2023. The Competition will end once the limit of 4,000 entries has been reached or 17th September 2023, whichever is soonest.  
  4. The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. Smartphone, valid email address, Facebook/Instagram account & WhatsApp account required for entry.
  5. To enter the Competition, you must see the in-feed ad on social media or click on the link via e-mail and click through to the WhatsApp bot. Upon entering ‘I want to get my voice on the radio’, the chatbot will begin with instructions on how to submit your entry. Entries received outside of the WhatsApp bot will be void and will not be entered into the Competition. Only one entry per person.
  6. All entries will be placed into a draw which will be performed by a computer program which produces verifiably random results. A shortlist of 100 entries will be drawn along with an appropriate number of reserves. This shortlist will be judged by a judging panel including an independent judge between 18th September 2023 and 22nd September 2023. Entries which are deemed to have fulfilled the moderation criteria below (successful entries) will be selected to feature on the radio and the successful entrants will be notified of this by email on or before 6th October 2023. There will be 50 successful entries in total.
  7. Moderation Criteria : The submitted voice note must comply with the following criteria in order to be eligible for selection:
    1. Voice notes submitted must be clear and audible.
    2. Submissions must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
    3. Must not breach any of these Terms and Conditions.
    4. Must not contain any content not included in the script.
    5. Successful entries will comprise of a variety of accents. If there are too many that are deemed to be too similar, some will be discarded.
  8. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry submitted to the Competition that they suspect may breach any third party intellectual property rights.
  9. 50 successful entries will win the prize of having their voice featured on the the radio.

  12. The Promoter will use your personal information only in accordance with these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy which can be found at https://eu.mondelezinternational.com/privacy-notice?sc_lang=en&siteId=gnvqPqY%2bC4h0vOchgR1oOul5vzaH6HHs. The Promoter will only use your personal information for the purpose of carrying out the Competition. If an entry is not selected as a winning entry, the entry and any data related to it will be deleted once the selection process has completed and the Promotion is fulfilled, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  13. Subject to paragraph 13 and without prejudice to the Promoter's data protection obligations under relevant law, the Promoter shall make available the successful drawn entries’ counties, upon receipt of a written request (which includes a correctly stamped self-addressed envelope for such a response) to Trebor Own It (7981), PO Box 906, Chilton HP22 9HR (who shall facilitate provision of such information on the instructions of and on behalf of Promoter). 
  14. Entrants to the Competition can, at any time (including at or before the time of entry), object to all or some of their personal information being made available in accordance with paragraph 12 by emailing queries@promotions.uk.com. However, the Promoter shall provide the information set out in paragraph 12 upon request from such competent authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority).
  15. By entering your entry into the Competition, you grant to the Promoter a licence (i.e. permission) to use your entry for promotional purposes in any and all media throughout the world in perpetuity (or, where such a licence is not lawful or enforceable, for up to 50 years from the date the entry is submitted to the Competition), including, without limitation, on the Promoter’s publicly accessible website(s), Instagram, Facebook and Twitter feeds, YouTube page(s)/channel(s) and all other media whether now known or hereafter invented (“Permitted Purposes”). For the avoidance of doubt the Promoter may, without limitation, add a soundtrack of its own choosing to your entry and edit/splice it together with other entries. If your entry is selected as one of the successful entries, you grant to the Promoter a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty free licence to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, re-format, sub-licence or exploit the Successful Entry including (but not limited to) the right to tweak the entry in order to fit the product template, in any media at all times without restriction or limitation. 
  16. By entering the Competition, you waive the right to be credited when your entry is broadcasted. 
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or terminate (temporarily or permanently) these terms and conditions or the Competition with or without prior notice where it becomes necessary to do so due to any unforeseen circumstances outside their reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud or in the event of technical or other difficulties that might compromise its integrity).
  18. Entrants shall be responsible for all costs, expenses or liabilities associated with their entry to the Competition. 
  19. No correspondence will be entered into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the Competition is final.
  20. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for entries that are not received for any reason or difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Competition and proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of delivery.  
  21. While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the Promoter and its affiliate companies will not be legally responsible to entrants for any losses that were not foreseeable to the Promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the Competition or which are caused by a third party.
  22. This Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. 
  23. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this Competition.
